Put In My Place By Automatons (Day 351)

Two nearby towns announced that school is closed tomorrow. Then my town did. But still, as I discussed a few days ago, my daughter’s school, per usual, did not.

I turned to my friends and repeated my claim. Rachel’s school won’t call until 5:30 a.m. I lamented. I may have even growled.

About ten seconds after a minute long lament, my cell phone rang. “School is cancelled tomorrow.”

So I was wrong. They don’t ALWAYS wait until 5:30 a.m. to call.

I wonder how much snow we’ll get this time.
