Why Colbert Rules The Airwaves (Day 342)

I tried to watch the Republican debate last night because I was curious if it would be more issue-centric without the Donald there taking up so much space. That lasted about 30 minutes.

All I saw was a bunch of angry men arguing. When they weren’t arguing, they were plugging themselves or reciting a canned line intended to rouse people. Didn’t rouse me.

We kept the show on in the background, but I had better things to do. Like play word games. And solitaire on my computer. And close my eyes for a few minutes because I was tired.

Today, however, I did watch a Republican debate via Stephen Colbert. If you haven’t seen the clip from his show about the Donald vs. Trump debate, it is so worth your time. So clever.

I’m sharing the link here. I’d love to know what you think of it.
