When Exactly Does Time Fly? (Day 341)

(Photo via Visualhunt)

Some days pass by sooooo slowly. Today was not one of those days.

One minute I was taking my morning shower, and the next minute it was 6 pm. And I didn’t leave my house. I only went outside once today and that was to put some recycling in the garage.

I missed my daughter’s hockey game. I didn’t make dinner. I barely worked on the writing that I’d thought I’d get to today. I didn’t even waste time on a puzzle or on Netflix.

If time flies when you’re having fun or deeply focused on a project, why did today go by so quickly?

A question I’m not going to spend too much time worrying about.

I’d hate to look up and find out it’s already midnight.

I write about daily life, arts & culture, food, books, nature, animals, parenting, relationships, self-discovery, & more.
