I’m not the biggest football fan but I enjoy Sunday afternoons watching the game in our den, with a roaring fire and at least a couple members of my family. And I live in Boston, which means my team is one of the best teams in football. It’s hard not to get pumped up when your team plays so well.
And there’s Tom Brady, who seems to be aging quite gracefully.
Occasionally we watch football with friends, usually during the playoffs and Superbowl, because the games are exciting, which is why I find it amusing that those games are the ones I end up missing most of the play.
About 12 of us gathered for this afternoon’s game. Close friends. Lots of food. Jeff’s tequila-heavy Margaritas.
Somehow, in total, I watched about five minutes of the game.
The reason: close friends, lots of food, Jeff’s tequila-heavy Margaritas.
Not complaining. Our team won. I had fun.
But maybe the next game, I’ll pay a little more attention.
