Going the Way of Snail Mail (Day 312)

(Photo via VisualHunt.com)

When I open my email box these days, I have far more junk mail than I have personal mail.

I’m partially to blame, as I can’t help but sign up for notifications from companies that sell products I like, especially when they offer special deals to those on their subscriber lists. I also tend to sign up for more blog posts than I can possibly read, but I can’t bear to let go of any of those subscriptions because when I read them, I always find them interesting.

Every so often, I cull the emails, opening up each one and unsubscribing from their lists, but day by day, week by week, I add many of them back and more. It’s circular and the circles keep expanding.

One step forward, two steps back.

(For those of you who receive this by email, I had a glitch yesterday, so you may not have received yesterday’s entry. If interested, you can read it here.)

I write about daily life, arts & culture, food, books, nature, animals, parenting, relationships, self-discovery, & more.
