Rules About Chocolate Covered Salted Caramels (Day 291)

Because my friend asked me to bring dessert to her house tonight, where a few friends are gathering, I bought the chocolate covered salted caramels that I ogle over whenever I see them at Whole Foods. Because I’m that kind of gal, I bought and am bringing both the dark and the milk chocolate kind.

I’m not allowed (by my own rule) to bring those chocolates into my house unless they are to be taken somewhere else. At a party, I won’t eat one after another after another until they are all gone. All bets are off if I’m home alone with those candies.

Hopefully they will all be eaten tonight, but if not, my friend better not offer to send them home with me. I don’t want to think about how my husband and daughter would be missing out if I left them at her house. I don’t want to consider breaking this rule, which is in place for a very good reason.
