The Message On The Breeze (Day 192)

I love Fall.

I love Fall so much.

Grabbing an apple straight from a tree and sinking my teeth into it.

Raking the leaves into a pile and jumping in. Or better yet, watching kids jump in.

Bundling up in a chunky sweater to take a walk in the crisp evening air.

And the colors. I love the colors of Fall.

Around five p.m., I took the dog for a walk. The day had been warm and sticky, so I was expecting the same when I went outside. But I was surprised.

A cool breeze broke through the humidity of the day. As I walked, I felt my spirits lift. So the dog and I took a longer route than normal. We walked and walked and walked.

And listened to the message on the breeze.

Fall is on its way. Before you know it, it will be here.

  1. I’m with you. I absolutely love the fall. And especially an “east coast” fall. I grew up in Ontario where we had beautiful autumn colours. In Alberta, we don’t have all those reds, and fall passes quickly into winter.

    Enjoy your fall!

So what do you think?
