Wearing of the Green (Day 24)

I always forget to do the thing I’m supposed to do on the holidays until it’s too late.

I’m dressed for dinner, about to leave, wearing rust and off-white and black. No time to change and even if I did have time, I don’t have anything green to wear, as I’m on vacation, and I packed lightly, apparently forgetting to include green clothes.

Which is kind of funny since I love the color green. I guess you can love something without choosing to wear it on your body.

I hadn’t thought about it until now, but my eyes are green. At least they are on most days. Sometimes they’re more gold or brown, but today they’re definitely GREEN.

St. Patrick’s Day green.

  1. I had a pedicure on Saturday and had them paint my toenails green. At the time, I was thinking in terms of spring, but yesterday it saved me from a pinch!\

      1. If I can take a picture that’s not too awkward, I’ll post it to FB, Sara. It’s sort of a bright Kelly green.
        😉

  2. Yeah, what’s with the pinching of people who don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? I discovered that tradition the hard way as a child one fateful day when I went to school and I wasn’t properly prepared…

So what do you think?
