You Light Up My Life (Day 15)

I’m talking about the sun.

We all joined in the complaining about losing an hour this morning. You spring forward and what happens? You lose time. None of us can afford to lose time.

Or can we?

My family sat down for supper at 6:30 pm and the sun shone through the windows. O.M.G.

I know that I am less energetic when the sun is low in the sky, but I don’t think I realized until this evening at dinner how much the sun impacts my mood.

Life is good. There is hope for the future.

Okay. That may have taken it too far.

I love the sun. It gives me energy, strength and hope.

Spring is almost here.

Are you rejoicing?

I am.

  1. I think it’s going to take a few days to settle in to the new clock!

At the 51st parallel, the sun is rising at 8 a.m. this time of year and I can watch sunrise. By midsummer, the sun will be up by 5:30 a.m.
And I hope to sleep through that!

    1. I hope you’ll sleep through that too. Just the mention of midsummer gives me a jolt of excitement. I do love the sun.

So what do you think?
