Just Add Water (Day 13)

Some of my friends got together and gave me a Vitamix for my birthday. If you have never used one of these contraptions, you may think that it is just a high power blender. But, in reality, it is a pulverizer. I’ve made a couple of smoothies with it and have been stunned by its ability to turn vegetables as hard as carrots into mush in a matter of seconds.

Because I am who I am, I made some silly art with two of my favorite Vitamix smoothies, so far. For the Cherry Orange Banana smoothie (above,) use exactly what is in the picture and add 1/2 cup of water. For the Carrot Pineapple Apple Ginger smoothie (below,) use exactly what is in the picture and add 1/2 cup of coconut milk.
