What I Read Today . . .

“It strikes me that this may be one of the differences between youth and age: when we are young, we invent different futures for ourselves; when we are old, we invent different pasts for others.”

  1. That is a great quote. I am writing that down.
(Because, you know…”Simply indicating kudos isn’t going to just be adequate”) πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing this one, Sara!

    1. The short answer is yes. I think it’s a really interesting book. The longer answer gets into the type of books you like to read. This one is very dense. Lots of lines like the one I quoted. Lots of intellectual discussion but not overly obtuse. Very British with clipped language and a different rhythm than American books. Did that answer your question or make it more complicated??

So what do you think?
