Naked Brownie Green Shoe One-Word Humor

Like my mash-up title?

People were funny this week. And the ones who weren’t touched me with their stories.

But before I share this week’s blog post wonders, one of my all-time favorite moments on film. Donald O’Connor sure can “Make ‘Em Laugh.”

NAKED: Writer Erica Miles shows her husband her file of naked men. Research, she claims.

BROWNIE: Every parent of a child 16 and under loves the “If You Give a Mouse A Cookie” series of picture books. Clayton hits the nail on the head in her adult version of this soon-to-be classic.

GREEN:  Siri Paulson points out how we can check out that greener grass on the other side whenever we choose.

SHOES: Sometimes a rockin’ pair of heels really is the answer. Sherry Isaac explains.

ONE WORD: And finally, a new blogger, Judy the Morgan, had me laughing out loud with the picture that accompanies her spot-on post about a single word that we all know well.

Have a fabulous weekend everybody!

  1. Thanks for the SO, Sara. Your other picks for the week are great too. I enjoyed everyone of them. Singing in the Rain was apropos too. It’s raining here.
    You have a great weekend.

  2. Great mash up, Sara! Thanks for the shout out. “A soon-to-be-classic” – LOL! I wish! Actually, I wish I had thought up the original book – what a golden idea.

So what do you think?
